Booooooo

No this blog has not become a show place for all of my corporate work. I promise. This week my schedule suddenly became too full, and now I find out that I am flying to Chicago for the day on Friday to go over an existing freelance project. So, that means that you get the M&M's.

Oh, and Happy Halloween.

Life is Sweet

It's Tuesday, and once again I must slap some old work onto the table. This week I have several big deadlines, which means I lock myself into a room and pretend I am not here. At least I get to listen to a lot of music!

Happy candy Christmas goodness. Rough pose sketches in Photoshop.

Another sweet sketch. (Referring to the taste of the candy, I assure you.)

Rough concept for a Christmas frame.

Mouse Scribbles

I thought I would share some older sketches on the blog today. In other words, I got too busy to do a new drawing this morning... These are some sketches I did to brush up on the "Disney Look" and characters. They really didn't accomplish much for me, but I think they came out ok.

Goofy rockin the fightin gear.

Pooh and friends doing their best Calvin and Hobbes imitation.

Mickey in his P.J.'s

Island commute.

"K" is for Kukaburra Robotic Space Fighter

Although they did not get clearance to buzz the tower, Captain Billy Krunk and Co-Captain "Mustache" Johnson decided to do it anyway.

"J' is for Jumping Fish

Come on. If you had a lighthouse robot, wouldn't you borrow a creaky wooden boat and let him do your fishing for you?

"I" is for iGiggle-9000

Have you ever wished that you had your very own joke-telling robot? Well wish no more! The "iGiggle-9000" is a laugh a minute machine! And with the updated software package, you can now program it with jokes that don't start with "knock knock!"

Get Along Little Franky

Taking a break from the robotic letters for a bit. They won't stop at "G", but "H" may not show up until maybe next week.

This is a rough idea for the next Drawergeeks. The topic is "Universal Monsters", and I thought about doing western themed posters for each monster. The final look would be painted and texture filled. Lets see how far I get on these, considering all I have is "warm up" time.

Happy Hump Day

"G" It's Robot Time

G-Tech Forming Arm

Example: "Hey Steve, do you think we should order a few more G-Tech Forming Arms just so we can fill this pie order?"

Happy Monday.

"F" Is For Friday

The "Flurpatras" were said to have been constructed by the ancient Egyptians. While their original role was to protect the Pharaoh, a second version was later built to assist in building the pyramids.

It has been fun doing the letters as my warm ups this week. If all goes well I will try to keep it up next week. Thanks for all of the support! I will try to get a bit more creative going forward... ( I see you "E.")

"D" Bot Madness

The D-7.

Powered by magical glowing liquid, this bot patrols the deepest parts of space looking for stray lunar sheep.

"B" A Robot

Letter "B."

The "Grind Bot 8" is primarily used on the colder planets. Exploration and excavation were once it's focus, but these days it has been reprogrammed to make snow cones in a variety of flavors.

"A" Robot

My warm up this morning is the first letter in what I hope will be the full alphabet. I may take me ten years... but I will do this. I think the kids of today need more robots in their educational diet, and who am I to deny them?

One More Level

After several days of solid work, a buddy and I took a small game break with HALO 3. Add multiple Mt Dews, a frozen pizza, and countless Oreos... you have yourself a wicked geek hangover.

Monster Says

"Hello. Allow me to introduce myself. I am the monster in Jeremy's mind. I just wanted to let you know that he won't be posting much to his blog this week, as I have locked him in a closet and demanded that he toil away on REAL work. Also, any silly warm up drawings that he does will be fed to him as a snack. Thank you for understanding my efforts to make him grow up. Now get back to work."

(Jeremy hopes to surface this week at some piont!)
